Emblaze by Jessica Shirvington

OMY GOODNESS!!!!!...............JESSICA SHIRVINGTON YOU DID IT AGAIN!!!!!!.

I fell in love with this series ever sense I first saw the cover to Embrace and the goodness of it never failed me throughtout the series.

Once again Violet Eden faces an impossible choice ... and the consequences are unimaginable.

Violet has come to terms with the fact that being part angel, part human, means her life will never be as it was.

Now Violet has something Phoenix - the exiled angel who betrayed her - will do anything for, and she has no intention of letting it fall into his hands. The only problem is that he has something she needs too.

Not afraid to raise the stakes, Phoenix seemingly holds all the power, always one step ahead. And when he puts the final pieces of the prophecy together, it doesn't take him long to realise exactly who he needs in order to open the gates of Hell.

With the help of surprising new allies, ancient prophecies are deciphered, a destination set and, after a shattering confrontation with her father, Violet leaves for the islands of Greece without knowing if she will have a home to return to.

Just reading that makes my heart soar :)

Violet: She has grown up throughout the series to be a girl that you don't really want to piss off. Especially when it comes to the ones she love. She isn't afraid to put her life on the line and protect those who can't protect themselves. I really like Violet the best in this particular book. She pushes herself and it just shows the strength that she has. She is bad-*** all the way in Emblaze

Lincoln: I really found myselt wanting to shake the crap out of him. Violet was constantly showing her love for him and he would push her away. I get the whole thing about if something was to happen to either one of them, the other would be alive but not living(i hope that made sense) but its like they aren't really living if they don't have each other. This really put a strain on their relationship and it made things so much more complicated because they are in love. But he is still very protective of Violet and he cares even though his gaurds are up

Phoenix: In this book I was kinda rooting for Phoenix. I actually liked the bad guy. Now let me explain before you guys start to frown upon me. Deep down all Phoenix wants is to be loved. He is lonely and its just him against the world. In the previous books I didn't like him. After reading a chapter that told from his point of view I saw a whole new perspective of him. He loves Violet and there isn't a thing he wouldn't do for her. When he asked her to come with him on the rooftop I felt so bad for him. There is so much more but I'm not going to spoil it. you just have to read it and you will see why I liked him in this book.

Best Friends: Steph and Spence are just the best friends anybody could ever ask for. Steph being their for Violet and helping them along their Journey. She is also just the piece of humanity that Violet holds onto. Spence is the brotherly type for violet. He has her back and she has his. There isn't a thing that they wouldn't do for each other.

Overall this is a FIVE STAR RATING!!!! I enjoyed reading it sooooo much. I can't wait to get my hands on Endless because that cliffhanger at the end of Emblaze had me saying NOOOOOOOOO!!!! YOU....YOU CAN'T DO THAT but she is Jessica Shirvington and she can.

The Mister Book Review

Goodreads synopsis:  London, 2019. Life has been easy for Maxim Trevelyan. With his good looks, aristocratic connections, and money, he’s never had to work and he’s rarely slept alone. But all that changes when tragedy strikes and Maxim inherits his family’s noble title, wealth, and estates, and all the responsibility that entails. It’s a role he’s not prepared for and one that he struggles to face.   But his biggest challenge is fighting his desire for an unexpected, enigmatic young woman who’s recently arrived in England, possessing little more than a dangerous and troublesome past.  Reticent, beautiful, and musically gifted, she’s an alluring mystery, and Maxim’s longing for her deepens into a passion that he’s never experienced and dares not name. Just who is Alessia Demachi? Can Maxim protect her from the malevolence that threatens her? And what will she do when she learns that he’s been hiding secrets of his own?   I will admit I did have some kind of salty feelings going int
