September TBR

This month I have decided to go with a theme outside of my reading challenge for this month. I have not had the experience of diving into children's fiction and I know there are some really great stories out there in children fiction. I have read the Spiderwick Chronicles and the review for that will be posted in a few days. These are pretty short so I think I can get them in.

For this month I am going to work on Children series
Beyonders Chronicles) by Brandon Mull -A World Without Heroes (bk1)
                                                                  -Seed of Rebellion (bk2)
                                                                  - Chasing the Prophecy (bk3)

The Theodosa Throckmorton series by R.L. LaFevers -Theodosia and the Serpents Chaos
-Theodosia and the Staff of Osiris
-Theodosia and the Eyes of Horus
                                                                                       -Theodosia and the Last Pharaoh

Now if you don't know about Tackle Your TBR  Read-a-thon hosted by Wishful Endings it is a two week read-a-thon for you to get through books that are on your TBR pile. It will be from September 12th-16. There are open discussions on goodreads about the books you want to read. I can already tell its going to be great. Here is my list

1.) DragonMark by Sherrilyn Kenyon
2.)Vicious by V.E. Schwab
3.)A Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
4.)And I Darken by Kiersten White
5.)This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab

Some of these I have been struggling with to finish. It is taking me forever to get through This savage song but its coming along. Also I have been a huge reading slump and it seems never ending. Keeping my fingers crossed that it ends because there is so much that I want to get my hands on.

The Mister Book Review

Goodreads synopsis:  London, 2019. Life has been easy for Maxim Trevelyan. With his good looks, aristocratic connections, and money, he’s never had to work and he’s rarely slept alone. But all that changes when tragedy strikes and Maxim inherits his family’s noble title, wealth, and estates, and all the responsibility that entails. It’s a role he’s not prepared for and one that he struggles to face.   But his biggest challenge is fighting his desire for an unexpected, enigmatic young woman who’s recently arrived in England, possessing little more than a dangerous and troublesome past.  Reticent, beautiful, and musically gifted, she’s an alluring mystery, and Maxim’s longing for her deepens into a passion that he’s never experienced and dares not name. Just who is Alessia Demachi? Can Maxim protect her from the malevolence that threatens her? And what will she do when she learns that he’s been hiding secrets of his own?   I will admit I did have some kind of salty feelings going int
