Stranger Things Book Tag!

Image result for stranger things book tag

This is a really neat book tag that was created by booktuber Sarah Sunbeemz. Her channel is great and worth checking out. If you haven't watched Stranger Things....stop right now and go watch it. Seriously.

1.)Epic Intro: The opening sequence of Stranger Things is amazing and really grabs your attention. Name a book that grabbed your attention from the first page.

A:Recently I would say This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab. The opening sentence opened with Kate setting the school chapter on fire. It was a great first sentence to open up the story.

2.) 2. DUNGEONS & DRAGONS. Name a fantasy world you would like to experience yourself.

A:I would have to say Velaris from A Court of Mist and Fury. It soooo beautiful they way it is described. I would love to see that world.

3.) SQUAD GOALS. When Eleven met Mike, Dustin and Lucas it was a *mostly* perfect team. Name your favourite bookish group of friends.

A:I think it is pretty obvious: Harry, Ron, and Hermionie .....Enough said.

4.)  ABC’s & CHRISTMAS LIGHTS. Joyce Byers goes mad with grief after Will goes missing. Name your favourite mentally unhinged character.

A: It would be Silla from And the Trees Crept in by Dawn Kurtagich. It is a psychological thriller and as the book progress the main character clearly starts to fall deeper into a mental state of paranoia.

5.)THE UPSIDE DOWN. Name a book that was the opposite of what you expected.

A: I would say And The Trees Crept In. I totally was not expecting the ending. It was way off from what I though it would be and would have guess it would be. If you read it then you will definently know what I'm talking about. My Review

6.)MAD SCIENTISTS. Dr. Brenner likes to get freaky with humanity. Name the freakiest dystopian government you can think of.

A:The Hunger Games...A government that is requires a  bunch of children to be gathered together and kill each other......that is pretty freaky.

7.)DEMOGORGON. Name a scary bookish creature that you would not want to come through your walls.

A:  I don't read a lot of horror/thrillers but I have had a share of zombie books. They are disgusting! I prefer to read them than to watch them. I couldn't even watch The Walking Dead....I'm horrible.

8.)  CLIFFHANGER ENDING. name a book that left you wanting more.

A: A Court of Mist and Fury. I can go all day about why that ending had me crying for the next book but we won't go there.

That is it. If you feel that you want to do this tag go ahead. Tag me so that I can see your answers.

The Mister Book Review

Goodreads synopsis:  London, 2019. Life has been easy for Maxim Trevelyan. With his good looks, aristocratic connections, and money, he’s never had to work and he’s rarely slept alone. But all that changes when tragedy strikes and Maxim inherits his family’s noble title, wealth, and estates, and all the responsibility that entails. It’s a role he’s not prepared for and one that he struggles to face.   But his biggest challenge is fighting his desire for an unexpected, enigmatic young woman who’s recently arrived in England, possessing little more than a dangerous and troublesome past.  Reticent, beautiful, and musically gifted, she’s an alluring mystery, and Maxim’s longing for her deepens into a passion that he’s never experienced and dares not name. Just who is Alessia Demachi? Can Maxim protect her from the malevolence that threatens her? And what will she do when she learns that he’s been hiding secrets of his own?   I will admit I did have some kind of salty feelings going int
