November TBR

We only have one month left in the year! This years just zoomed right on by. I had a good reading month for the month of October and I hope to good this month as well. My goal is to finish all my books that were sent to me for review.

The Contact by Joanna Homer
I was sent this ebook by the author and I absolutely cannot wait to read it. Eliza hasn't had the best of life along with her young sister. While she is taking care of her sister she is coming into her senior year in high school and trying to juggle a job not to mention deal with an ex. In comes along Jack who is obviously not hard to miss or notice until he shows up at the first signs of trouble. When something happens that makes Jack come clean about who he is Eliza's life is turned upside down and she is thrust into a world that she did not know existed.

Fate of Flames by Sarah Raughley (Effigies bk1)
This book will be released on the 22nd of this month. The story follows four girls that are called Effigies that have powers that control the elements and must save the world from the Phantoms which are massive beast made from nightmares and darkness that terrorize the world. When one Effigies dies then another takes upon her powers. With the new technology booming for protection the Effigies are not needed as much and they stop defending humanity. Until the protection fails Maia a high school student is suddenly thrown into the Effigies world and possess the power of the element fire.

Rarity from the Hollow by Robert Eggleton
Another book for review. Lacy Dawn's father relives the Gulf War, her mother's teeth are rotting out, and her best friend is murdered by the meanest daddy on Earth. Life in The Hollow isn't great. But Lacy has one advantage -- she's been befriended by a semi-organic, semi-robot who works with her to cure her parents. He wants something in exchange, though. It's up to her to save the Universe.
Will Lacy Dawn's predisposition, education, and magic be enough for her to save the Universe, Earth, and, most importantly, protect her own family?
Rarity from the Hollow is adult literary science fiction filled with tragedy, comedy and satire. It is a children's story for adults, not for the prudish, faint of heart, or easily offended.

I was a Bitch by Emily Ruben
What if you woke up having forgotten the last two years of your life? After a horrific accident Lacey Jones has to try piece together her shattered past. With no memory of the previous two years she finds herself in a relationship with a man she doesn’t know, and with a reputation for being the Queen Bitch of High-School.
She decides to keep the secret of her memory loss until she can figure out what happened in these two years she lost, trusting only the mysterious and sexy Finn to help her, but will she continue being that bitch or will she decide to rewrite her story?

This sounds really good and I hope to finish it this month.

The Mister Book Review

Goodreads synopsis:  London, 2019. Life has been easy for Maxim Trevelyan. With his good looks, aristocratic connections, and money, he’s never had to work and he’s rarely slept alone. But all that changes when tragedy strikes and Maxim inherits his family’s noble title, wealth, and estates, and all the responsibility that entails. It’s a role he’s not prepared for and one that he struggles to face.   But his biggest challenge is fighting his desire for an unexpected, enigmatic young woman who’s recently arrived in England, possessing little more than a dangerous and troublesome past.  Reticent, beautiful, and musically gifted, she’s an alluring mystery, and Maxim’s longing for her deepens into a passion that he’s never experienced and dares not name. Just who is Alessia Demachi? Can Maxim protect her from the malevolence that threatens her? And what will she do when she learns that he’s been hiding secrets of his own?   I will admit I did have some kind of salty feelings going int
